Solo Career

She is the vocal soloist for Avex Classic's Titanic LIVE (France 2019, Taiwan 2023), and made her Royal Albert Hall (London) solo debut at the world premiere screening of The English Patient LIVE with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in 2018. She will be returning to the RAH this Autumn as a guest soloist in the world premiere of Avatar LIVE.

In 2019, she was invited by Gabriel Yared to be his soprano soloist in the televised gala concert 'Hollywood in Vienna', where Yared was presented with the 2019 Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award. She returned as a soloist at Hollywood in Vienna in September 2022 for Alan Menken, singing 'Part of Your World' from The Little Mermaid. (video below

THE FOOD OF LOVE

Eleanor first worked with Nigel Hess during the making of Nigel’s album, The Way of Light – The Music of Nigel Hess’. Eleanor subsequently made her solo debut with the BBC Concert orchestra, as the soprano soloist in The Way of Light by Nigel Hess (available on iTunes, Apple Music and multiple streaming platforms: orchid-music.lnk.to/nigelhess

Fast forward to 2024, Eleanor joined Nigel in the revival of ‘The Food of Love’, a project that started originally as a CD collection of Nigel's scores for the Royal Shakespeare Company in new orchestrations performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. A concert version of The Food of Love was first performed at Cadogan Hall with narrators Dame Judi Dench and Sir Patrick Stewart, and now, as part of this year's Summer Music in City Churches Festival, a new version of The Food of Love was premiered on 7th June.

“A glittering evening of Shakespearean music, verse and anecdote”, Eleanor performed alongside singer Michael Dore with actors Nancy Carroll and Richard Teverson accompanied by Nigel at the piano. As well as Nigel's music, other composers featured included Craig Armstrong, William Walton, Michael Kamen, Cole Porter and Stephen Warbeck, with Shakespeare being brought vividly to life as the Bard’s most famous speeches and scandalous backstage anecdotes created a night to remember! A compilation of snippets from the evening can be watched below.
